Fee is $50 paid in advance. If you have taken this class in the last 12 months, you are eligible for 50% discount. If you are a Friend of the Center you are eligible for 10% discount.
This class focuses on the technique of making stereocards and the craft which transforms these plain images into precious works of art worth being kept as family heirlooms.
We will learn how to use both Photoshop, which is the best image editing program, as well as the free software called Stereo Photo Maker which will allow a student to convert a digitally captured image into highly collectible pieces of art. The class will teach students how to take a stereo photograph with a digital camera using a slide bar, how to make a stereo image, and finally how to convert such an image into a classic high quality stereocard. Requirements for the class are a digital camera, a good tripod and either the free software or Photoshop. In addition to these, either plans or kits of a stereoscope and a slide bar may be purchased directly from the instructor. Please contact the instructor, Shab Levy, directly for any questions you may have about the class: shablevy@comcast.net
