Volunteers

General Volunteer Information

Interested in volunteering at the 3D Center? As a not-for-profit organization, we rely on volunteers to help staff the daily shifts at the Center and we appreciate all of your hard work. As a volunteer, you must have an interest in 3D imagery - beyond that, no experience is necessary and training is provided. Here’s a brief overview of the responsibilities and perks involved:

Responsibilities:
• Greet visitors & handle admissions
• Keep track of visitor attendance
• Show visitors around the Center
• Explain the different viewers & equipment
• Run 3D slide show
• Gift shop sales

Perks:
• You get to meet lots of great people.
• You learn all about 3D imagery and history.
• You help a very worthy & unique non-profit organization who relies heavily on volunteer staffing.
• You’ll receive the Center’s newsletter, Center News if you volunteer at least once a quarter.
• You’ll enjoy a 10% discount of gift shop items & supplies during your shift.

Unless the schedule shows a different time, all sessions on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday start at 1 pm and end at 5 pm. All sessions for the first Thursday of the month start at 6 pm and end at 9 pm. Every Thursday, Friday & Saturday session needs one volunteer in addition to the Director. Sunday sessions require 2 volunteers, one with a key.
